Camping Markádia is located at the Lake of Odivelas inserted in a National Ecological Reserve. It is an ideal park for nature lovers, quietude and the relaxing atmosphere of the Alentejo. It is a spacious camping (10Ha) in the shape of a peninsula for a maximum of 480 people. We don’t have fixed pitches so the customer is free to choose where to camp whether it is in a tent, a caravan or a motorhome as long as a minimum distance of 10 meters is kept from other campers. This way we aim to provide each group more privacy and an even closer contact to nature.

Basic Rules

Camping

1.All persons and vehicles circulating inside the campsite must be duly registered at the reception as guests or visitors.
2.All tents, caravans and motorhomes inside the campsite must be duly registered at the reception.
3.Each customer registration must be associated with an accommodation unit in the campsite in the form of a tent, caravan or motorhome.
4.It is not allowed to leave abandoned material in the campsite (tents, caravans, cars, camper vans), without informing the management and making the proper registration.
5.During a stay at the campsite, campers should conduct their behaviour by the rules of good neighbourliness by refraining from any acts likely to annoy other campers.
6.All customers must respect the minimum distance of 10 meters from to the equipment of other campers.
7.All guests have to respect silence from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
8.The entrance and exit of vehicles from the campsite is prohibited between 23:00 and 07:00.
9.Dogs are admitted to the campsite provided they are kept on a leash at all times.
10.To maintain the environmental quality and quietude we can not admit customers with noisy devices and equipment such as water scooters, 4-wheel motorcycles, cross motorcycles, outboard motor of more than 4 HP, etc.

NO COMPLIANCY OF PARK STANDARDS GIVES THE MANAGEMENT THE RIGHT TO NOT ALLOW THE CONTINUITY OF THE STAY OR NOT ENTERING THE PARK.
