Recreational Area

The Recreational Area at Markádia is located next to the campsite and is open to the general public at the following times:

APRIL – SEPTEMBER: 

  • Daily between 9:30 – 19:00

OCTOBER – MARCH:

  • Daily between 9:30 – 18:00

It is a great place to spend the day and enjoy the tranquillity and quietude of the Alentejo countryside.

Café Restaurant

The Markádia Cafe-Restaurant has a fantastic view over the Lake of Odivelas and is open for breakfast, lunch and snacks at the following times:

APRIL – SEPTEMBER: 

  • Daily between 9:30 – 19:00

OCTOBER – MARCH:

  • Daily between 9:30 – 18:00

Swimming-pool

OPENS JUNE 8th, 2019 until September.

The Markádia Pool is 250 m2 and is open every day between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Tennis Courts

At the Recreational Area there are two tennis courts available for hire within the following schedule:

  • Daily between 9:30 – 18:00

*Sports shoes are compulsory

Mini-Golf

At the Markádia Recreational Area there is a unique rustic mini golf course composed of 9 unique tracks available to play within the following hours:

  • Daily between 9:30 – 18:00

Horses

At Markádia we offer the possibility of horseback riding by booking in advance and subject to availability in 2 different ways:

  • Inside the ring

  • Within a meadow of roughly 1 hectare

Farm Animals

Scattered around Markádia are several pets like horses, donkies, sheep, chickens, cats and peacocks.
